Darkness falls. The waves hit the shore. Fireflies compete with powerline hums. Originally released in 2001 as a CD-R in custom 10" letterpress packaging, this is an Al Larsen solo production, a sequel of sorts to the first Some Velvet Sidewalk album, Appetite for Extinction. Musically darker and lyrically heavier: this is love rock for the searching lost. The sound is digital primitive ca. 2001: no plug-ins, but removing RAM from the workstation skips the files during mix down and bitrate conversion wrecks the beat. ///// free download/no email /////
